1. Tear down that wall! - You may have been hurt from past relationships, but don't let that hinder you from meeting new people! So pull down your barricades and take charge of your life! Life in the current and not the past!!
2. Mood boosters - Remember there are ways to cheer yourself up when you may not be in the mood. Think of the 5 most happiest situations you have been in and repeat two of them.
3. Find common ground and play off it. - Everyone loves to talk to people who share similar interests. Find a point in a conversation or ask a question that will spiral into sharing common stories. Depending on the scene of the gathering, you will be able to adjust your conversations accordingly.
4. Learn a new language - body language! - Be aware of your body posture. Let your body language be just as charming. Uncross your arms is the first body language you must practice. Breathe three times deeply in through your nose and out of your mouth to relax yourself.
5. What his body is saying. - If his body language is saying, "I'm not interested", move on!
6. Pep up your sense of humor. - You don't have to tell jokes, but laughter is a key to easing anybody.
7. Take the Hello challenge. - Practice being charming by saying "Hello" to at least three men everyday. You'll be surprised how natural that feels. Don't think about what you are doing or how you are perceived. Just say hello to three men and take it from there.
To get you started, try the hello challenge this week. Approach 3 men, breathe, uncross your arms, listen for laughter and put it all together. Good hunting!
